JUNIOR ARCHITECT

Junior Architect
Job Type: Full-time
We are looking for a Junior Architect to assist in all phases of architectural work including planning, designing and construction supervision. The Junior Architect will work under the direct supervision of IVORY’s senior Architect and will be involved in the design procedure, from the earliest stages right through to completion.

 

Junior Architect Responsibilities:
·         Developing and presenting design project proposals

·         Conducting research, preparing drawings, specifications, and construction documents

·         Cooperating and liaising with construction professionals

·         Attention to detail

·         Ensuring that all works are carried out to specific standards, building codes, guidelines and regulations

·         Resolving complex design issues with innovative and practical solutions

·         Making on board visits to check on project status and report on project

·         Following architectural trends and advancements

 

Architect Requirements & Skills:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field

·         Excellent AutoCAD, 3ds studio max/Rhino

·         Excellent drawing skills and familiarity with design software (Adobe Photoshop, SketchUp, etc)

·         Knowledge of Microsoft Office

·         Knowledge of building codes and regulatory standards

·         Experience producing construction documents

·         Design and problem-solving skills as well as an appreciation of, and sensitivity to, architectural design intent

·         Strong creative and visualization skills

·         Excellent technical drawing skills

·         Team player with a positive attitude

·         Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills

·         Confidence working collaboratively in a dynamic and creative environment

·         Fluency in English

 

Preferred qualifications

·         Master’s degree in architecture

·         2+ years of experience
