Senior Architect

K-Studio is seeking an experienced Senior Architect to join our studio in Athens.  The ideal candidate should have great communication skills and strong design sensibilities, including fluency in creative thinking and problem solving. In order to be considered for this position, candidates should exhibit three or more built works within their portfolio, outlining their experience managing all stages of a project, from concept to construction.

We are a creative studio of architects and interior designers based in central Athens. Over the years we have grown and evolved into a dynamic team of talented creatives that share a passion for authentic and holistic design, along with a united goal to grow and learn at every opportunity.

As we continue to accumulate experience, expanding our knowledge and understanding across larger scales and a wider variety of typologies, it’s vital that this growth in our design abilities also translates into a more effective structure and a more harmonious flow in the daily life of the studio.

Our contextual approach produces unique and immersive experiences through Architecture, Interior and Hardscape Design, allowing us to achieve a holistic sense of experience across the range of spatial qualities within every project.

 

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience
• Degree in Architecture (5 years)
• High level proficiency in Rhino and Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience with NOK and planning procedures
• Experience in all stages of Design and Construction
• Experience in the production of Construction Documentation and Construction Support (on-site)
• Project management experience, including directing internal team and communicating with clients/external consultants
• Experience in a range of project scales, from master planning to interior design
• Experience in innovative hospitality and high end residential projects
• Proficiency in English
• In studio position

 

Experience in the following is a plus :

• Post-graduate Degree
• Archicad

 

Key areas of responsibility:

• High level knowledge of 2D + 3D programs in Rhino
