Junior Interior Designer

Makridis Associates is seeking a Junior Interior/FF&E designer to join its team in Athens and Thessaloniki studios.

This position requires a hands-on, creative individual with both strong conceptual and FF&E skills. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of the design process from inception to completion. They will be working on a range of projects including Hospitality, Residential, Offices and Educational Buildings.

Qualifications and skills:

·    minimum of two years’ post-qualification experience with a degree in interior design or architecture

·    experience in high end residential and hospitality projects

·    excellent knowledge of materials and finishes

·    excellent English language skills both written and verbal are required for this position

·    ability to create and develop design concepts for client presentation, working closely with the directors

·    fully competent to oversee FF&E specifications of all soft and hard materials/finishes and project schedules, knowledge of local and online showrooms and resources

·    up-to-date knowledge of furniture, lighting suppliers and their products on varied budgets, knowledge of manufacturing techniques

·    creation and management of FF&E budgets

·    experience in bespoke furniture design and production
