CAD Operator / Drafts-person

doxiadis+ is hiring for the position of CAD Operator / Drafts-person

Responsibilities & Tasks

• Draft architectural plans and construction drawings
• Prepare drawings from engineering markups
• Coordinate CAD for projects with both internal and external team members and be responsible for initial drawing setup based on project requirements and company standards
• Revise architectural plans as marked and thoroughly coordinate all sheets affected by changes
• Ensure adherence to company and industry standards in preparing design deliverables
• Perform quality checks prior to issuing documents
• Be responsible for the visual quality of drawings and plan sets
• Assist in file management including, but not limited to, scanning, plotting, creating and updating project drawing lists and general drawing management
• Assist and troubleshoot drawing/software issues with team members
• Ensure established deadlines are achieved

Qualifications & skills

• Applied technical degree in Architectural Design/Drafting or related field
• Working knowledge of architectural plans and construction drawings
• Working knowledge of Auto Cad
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work in a time-sensitive environment, to prioritize, manage time efficiently and effectively multi-task
• Ability to learn new job skills as needs arise
