Senior Architect || Design Lead

Bobotis + Bobotis Architects has a long-standing reputation for producing designs that challenge the boundaries of traditional architecture.

We are looking for a talented Design Lead/Senior Architect to join our team, working closely with the principals to develop and refine architectural concepts and guide the creative vision of our projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the principals to develop architectural concepts and translate the creative vision into buildable designs
• Lead the design team in producing innovative, functional architectural solutions
• Develop design strategies with a strong emphasis on spatial quality, circulation, and efficient use of space
• Oversee conceptual and schematic design phases, refining ideas into clear, well-resolved drawings and 3D models
• Prepare and coordinate drawings across all design stages (concept, preliminary, detail)
• Lead the preparation of client presentations, design narratives, and visual communication materials
• Foster a collaborative, creative studio environment
• Coordinate with consultants and ensure technical resolution of design challenges

Qualifications

• Approximately 8–15 years of experience in architectural design, with demonstrated creative leadership
• Exceptional design sensibility and a clear understanding of composition, proportion, and spatial quality
• Proven ability to develop and communicate strong conceptual ideas and translate them into functional, well-resolved designs
• Strong understanding of construction principles, detailing, and technical coordination
• Proficiency in Rhino and/or Archicad is required
• Knowledge of  NOK
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills
• A portfolio that demonstrates both visionary architectural thinking and well-executed, functional projects

This is a full-time, in-house position based in our office in Athens. We are only considering candidates who are currently located in Athens or are willing to relocate and work on site; remote collaborations will not be considered.
