Interior Designer

SCARPIDIS design is a boutique Athenian and New York based multidisciplinary design firm fusing architecture, interior, furniture and lighting design as well as art into one bespoke experience.

Job Post: We are currently seeking to hire an Interior Designer in Greece for projects in Athens, Antiparos and New York. We are looking to fill a full time independent contractor.

Description: This position works closely with our senior designer through daily zoom meetings  in performing architectural and interior design services and producing deliverable’s for high end residential and boutique commercial and hospitality projects.  The responsibilities would include developing designs, presentations, drafting, renderings, mood boards, CAD drawings, materials, furniture/lighting sourcing and procurement.

Qualifications and Skills: BA/BS in Interior Design or Architecture required. 1 to 6 years of professional experience, with related high end residential or hospitality work. Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup, and Rhino or 3d Max is required.

An important aspect of this position is having a discerning eye for design. Interest in and knowledge of high end residential design. A range of conceptual and technical design skill sets yet with a strong tendency towards design and conceptualization.

Proficiency in Greek and English is required.

The ideal candidate will be team oriented and an excellent communicator, self-motivated, and comfortable in a collaborative and dynamic remote work environment.
